Alternative Fuel Vehicle / Battery-Electric Plug-In Vehicle Program

Program Changes Effective July 1, 2022

Antelope Valley residents can claim a $500 incentive for the purchase of any make & model battery-electric plug-in vehicle purchased only from Antelope Valley Dealerships (out-of-area and online vehicle purchases are ineligible.) *Leases require at minimum 36-month term.

The AVAQMD AFV Incentive is a locally sponsored program offered to Antelope Valley residents. The AVAQMD incentive is limited to one per person, per vehicle during the life of this Plug-In Electric Vehicle incentive program. The person applying for the AFV incentive must be listed on the purchase/lease agreement. The purchase/lease agreement must include the purchaser/lessee's AV address. A copy of the purchase/lease agreement must be attached to the AFV Incentive Application. Proof of residency may be requested if AFV Incentive Applicant's AV address is not listed on the purchase/lease agreement. Incentives must be claimed within 6 months of purchase/lease and are generally paid within 45 days of submitting a complete application.
