Burn Permit Guidance
For Residential Tumble Weed Burning:
A Burn Permit must be obtained from the nearest Fire Station. The permit it is good for a year. The day prior to burning you need to call the local station and let them know that you intend to burn (be placed on the Burn List). You also need to verify with the AVAQMD that it is a burn day. You may find that information on our website or by calling (661) 723-8070 ext. *601.
For Agricultural Burning:
An Agricultural Burn Permit is issued from Fire Station 129, Division Headquarters, 42110 6th Street West, Lancaster, (661) 948-7271.
